In this performance assessment, students will use their knowledge of adding and subtracting within 1000 based on place value, properties of operations, and the relationship between addition and subtraction. Specifically, students will be asked to complete a performance task that will check their mastery of these skills.

Fluently Add and Subtract 1

Students can fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction.
