Overview

In this performance assessment, students will use text features to find information by completing a scavenger hunt. After completing the scavenger hunt, the students will summarize what they read. This assessment is best used after students learn about text features such as headings, subheadings, photo and captions, illustrations, bold print, chart, diagrams, graphs, table of contents, and glossary.
