Overview

In this performance assessment, students will listen and watch a video of a story being read aloud. Then, they will create a review of the story, sharing the main idea, and supporting details of the story.

Students will create the final product, choosing whether to create a book review or a news report. Final student work should be saved or scanned as an Acrobat PDF for uploading to the virtual scoring software. This assessment can be used at any time in grade 4.
