Overview

In this performance assessment, students will recognize and represent proportional relationships between quantities using graphs, tables, and equations.  

Specifically, students will be asked to complete a table, graph the data from the table, and write an equation to represent the relationship between the number of lemons and the cups of lemonade at a lemonade stand.  

Students can show their work in the workspace provided in the student booklet.  Printed booklets are suggested to evaluate student work.  If the assessment task is done digitally, students should be familiar with showing their mathematical processes digitally.  
This assessment would best be used after instruction of proportional relationships in tables, graphs, and equations.
