Overview

In this performance assessment, students will use their understanding of rounding and place value to solve problems. Students will solve math problems based on rounding and answer a real-life problem based on their understanding of place value and rounding.

This assessment might best be used after students have learned about rounding to the nearest 10s or 100s place.

Students can use place value understanding to round whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100.
